Nilinaw ng Department of Health (DOH) nitong Miyerkules na pwede paring mag-require ang local government units (LGUs) ng COVID-19 testing para sa mga fully-vaccinated individuals bilang requirement para makapasok sa kanilang mga lugar.
Ito ang pahayag ni Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire matapos magreklamo ang ilang LGU sa bagong IATF Resolution 124-B na inilabas noong Linggo.
"While the IATF has said that cards may be used in lieu of the testing requirements, as we iron out operational concerns, IATF Reso 101 remains in effect. This means that the LGU can still require testing as a requirement to entry," pahayag ng Undersecretary.
Sa IATF Resolution 124-B, papayagan ang pagbiyahe ng mga fully vaccinated individual na gamitin ang vaccination card o di kaya ay certificate of quarantine completion bilang kapalit sa COVID-19 testing requirement ng isang lokal na pamahalaan.
Bukas, inaasahang magpupulong ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases kasama ang mga leader ng Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines upang pag-usapan ang nasabing bagong resolution ng IATF.
